In 1993 HEP started as a volunteer-run organization. Since those humble beginnings, volunteerism has remained a core component of the work that we do. Given our small staff and the comparably large number of programs we run, volunteer opportunities at HEP are both plentiful and diverse.
Whether you are available for only a couple of hours each week or can commit to volunteer a few days every week, we’d love to hear from you. Knowledge of and/or experience with hepatitis is desirable but not required. Our volunteers help with many tasks including:
Hepatitis C sceening
Hepatitis A/B Vaccinations (licence required)
Data Entry and Record Keeping
Responding to mail from prisoners
Leading and Coordinating Support Groups
